My name is Sophie, I'm 20 years old, currently living in London and a lover of all things creative.

In September I will make the move to Falmouth, a little seaside town in Cornwall where I will study BA Illustration and hopefully have more adventures along the way.

In 2010 I was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, I'm not one to dwell on the past but for years I spent a lot of time inside alone, and thus discovered blogging. I've been on tumblr since then and have been lucky to meet incredible people, make some close friends and branch out into the world. 

Art came naturally to me at that time and was the perfect escape, I finally realised what I loved and decided that was all I wanted to do! I also met lots of other people who were equally as enthusiastic as me, with inky clothes and messy desks. I was hooked and decided to start a Foundation Diploma in Art and design, it was the best decision and it was there that I became more open, confident and fell in love with the world of story telling and illustration.

As much as I love the city, I caught the travelling bug once I started seeing more of the world. In 2013 I travelled to Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, South France and Barcelona, when I was younger we never went on foreign holidays so this was a very exciting time for me. I fell in love with the long car journeys, map reading and exploring new towns. 

This is partly why I am moving to Falmouth, the sea, the fresh air and the relaxed pace of life seems ideal to me and I plan to keep blogging along the way.
